Ahamada Smis is an artist from Marseilles with an unusual story, an artist whose career moves along serenely just like the agile convolutions created by the stroke of a pen on paper. A wise rapper far from the cliché usually associated with this musical genre, he has become an international slammer in search of his Comorian roots. Juggling with words, he has taken on a real gamble by mixing his new project 'Origines' with traditional African and Australasian music, the thrilling afro-ngoma (a Comorian melodic afro-beat), hip hop and urban poetry in an 'island fusion' as deep as an inner voice and delicately golden as the Indian Ocean sun.
