Fascinated by the traditional songs from Central Brittany and lulled by more current sounds, Krismenn has taken the Breton language on its most modern adventure so far. Equally immersed in hip hop, electro, slam or blues, it is sharp and far from the stereotypes associated to Kan Ha Diskan (Breton tunes for dancing, sung a capella). Krismenn takes the traditional Kreiz-Breizh songs that he admires so much and mixes them with beat-box, sampling or guitar, armed with his lethal looper and an inexhaustible verve. With pride he has added to the Celtic language a new chapter which is both vibrant and alive.

Fasciné par les chants traditionnels du Centre-Bretagne et baigné par les sonorités actuelles, Krismenn fait vivre à la langue bretonne son aventure musicale la plus moderne, l’immergeant dans le hip hop, l’électro, le slam ou le blues avec la même force de l’évidence. Elle sonne ! Bousculant les stéréotypes, ce féru de Kan Ha Diskan (chants à danser a cappella bretons) frotte les traditions vocales du Kreiz-Breizh au beat-box, aux samples ou aux guitares, armé de son looper infernal et d’une faconde intarissable. Écrivant fièrement une page inédite de cette langue celtique, bien vivante et dansante.
