LA NUIT D’ANTIGONE

As part of the project Sublimes Portes connecting Mediterranean artists through musical creations, la Nuit d’Antigone weaves a female imaginary thread linking Marseilles, Berlin, Cairo, Paris, Tunis and Istanbul. With a remarkable distribution bringing together Sylvie Paz vocals, Perrine Mansuy piano, Naïssam Jalal flute, Diler Özer percussion and DJ Ipek Ipekçioglu sound design, this sound armada paints a fascinating picture of present-day women, symbol of fight and resistance in changing societies around the Mediterranean. A captivating and poetic odyssey carried by the contemporary writing of 5 female artists fiercely overexcited in front of obscurantism.
